Bert is a Muppet on the children's television show, Sesame Street. Bert was originally performed by Frank Oz, but since Since 2001, Eric Jacobson has been Bert's performer.

Bert and his roommate Ernie form a comic duo that is one of the most well-known from the show, with Bert having to regularly put a stop to Ernie's naive trouble-making. Though kind and intelligent, Bert is also grumpy, boring and easily frustrated.
